Enjoy DD's annual day at the races!
The Park's beautiful Million Room Platform is the setting for our annual, not-to-be-missed afternoon. We will have open bar for four hours and a lavish buffet for two hours. The buffet includes so many wonderful things that I cannot possibly fit them into this newsletter. There are appetizers, salads, side dishes, and desserts. Just look at the main entrées! Chef-Carved Roast Turkey Breast and Glazed Ham. While enjoying this great food, you can try your luck on the horses!

The Bank is housed in one of Wheaton's oldest and most storied buildings. Built in 1875, the building was the original site of the Gary Wheaton Bank (today Chase Bank).
The building at 121 West Front Street has been the scene of many memorable times since its construction by Wheaton founding fathers Jesse C. Wheaton and Elbert Gary. Colorful historical figures like football legend Red Grange and Colonel Robert R. McCormick, former Publisher and Editor in Chief of the Chicago Tribune, were frequent visitors to the building.
We will start with Soup du Jour and Tossed Salad. For your entrée, choose Bank Pot Roast (premium Angus beef chuck, slow braised, served with gravy and mashed potatoes), Crab Cake Duo (served with julienne vegetables, mango chutney, and wasabi mashed potatoes), or Lemon Basil Chicken (grilled chicken breast with Yukon Paprika Potatoes and a lemon Demi Glace). Dessert choices are Apple Burrito and Chocolate Fudge Cake. Coffee, Tea, or a Soda is included with dinner.
